Meeting Update
Mark you calendars
for September 3, 2009. This is the date of our next section meeting to
be held in Charleston at SCE&G's Sand Dunes Club. The date is set and we
are trying to confirm the speaker for this meeting. As soon as we have a
definite answer we will be posting an update. We have gotten a special
rate for lodging at The Shem Creek Inn for anyone wishing to stay there.
Thursday September 3, the rate will be $99 for a room on either side. If
you would like to stay another night the rate for Friday night will go
to $159. Any other nights will go up their normal rate of $189. Please
call their office directly at (843)881-1000 to make any lodging
reservations. You must mention the special rate for "NACE Carolina's
Section" to receive a discount. Do not make your reservations by the
internet. Tentatively the meeting will begin at 2pm with the educational
portion, then a time to meet with vendors and wrap it up with dinner and
a business meeting. We look forward to seeing all of you there.
